The Mugen RnR: Timeless.

There’s a new section in Honda Tuning magazine called Reachin’ Back. It’s a place where we explore the Honda scene’s roots and expose some of our favorite parts that are partially responsible for where we’re at today. This month we took a look at the Mugen RnR, one of the most influential wheels of all time in our opinion. The RnR is simple, classic, yet remains timeless. Pick up April’s issue for a look back at what is considered to be the wheel of choice for many Honda enthusiasts.

Mugen introduced the “Race and Recreation” wheel in 1991. The five-spoke wheel was available in silver, black with a red lip, and later in white. Sizing remained limited but that didn’t stop enthusiasts from running them. The RnR is, arguably, one of the most popular Honda wheels of all time.
