It was about a little over a year ago when I published my very first article, "Sin City Sols," in the August 2006 issue of Honda Tuning. It may have been a relatively small, but man did it have a big impact on my life. To be able to reach out to other Honda enthusiasts, to see my work displayed on magazine stands around the world, to capture the hard work and communities of dedicated car fanatics--it has been an awesome experience.
Seeing my name and work on the pages of HT was a dream come true. To this day, my first article is pinned up in a special corner of my cubicle. Not a day passes by that I don't look at it and smile.
I'd hate to use a cliche, but alas, all good things must come to an end. I enjoyed my time as the web producer of HT. To debate about cars, talk about the latest industry news, and learn more and more about the different aspects of each automotive scene--I pretty much got paid to do what I loved. Now it's time to move on.
I hope you guys enjoyed my opinionated blogs and the new sections (Import Models, Grassroots, Editorials, News) now featured on HT. Also be sure to check out the Reader's Rides Online section--upload photos, list specifications, check out other cars and show off your own ride at http://rides.hondatuningmagazine.com/. Now, about the new "The Fast and the Furious"-style layout, I'll let you guys decide...
So off I go. See you guys around!
